A little about me

I'm Charl and I'm an artist from a small town in the South Wales valleys. Growing up I knew I was different- I just didn't know why.

I spent most of my childhood drawing and continued working on my art skills into adulthood and obtaining my BA (hons) Degree in Illustration. By the time I was 24, I turned my childhood hobby into a profession which lead to amazing opportunities such as working on MTV's Just Tattoo Of Us and also guest presenting and opening up my own studio.

During my time on the show I was diagnosed as Autistic.
I have since been working on my portfolio as a REALISM artist following my childhood hyperfixation of portraiture. In my spare time I create content and advocate for autism with the hopes to inspire others.

As much as I would love to say yes to all tattoo requests, not all inquiries will be selected due to high demand. I look forward to hearing your ideas and hopefully working with you soon!

Please note: enquiries for outer thighs, upper arms, inner forearms and outer calves are more likely to be selected.

Skin Type

Please ensure that the images are clear, good quality, crisp, in focus, well-lit (no awkward angles) so I can asses the condition of your skin in the area you'd like tattooed. Please also provide some close-up photos (so I can see the pores in the area) and some further away so I can see the general shape and size of the location I'll be working on (asking someone to take the photos on your behalf is easier)

Known persons portrait related projects i.e famous movie stars or musicians etc are more likely to be selected.

If possible, please make sure photos are crisp, detailed and good quality. Poor quality photos may not be selected.

please note I cannot tattoo anyone under the age of 18 and you may be asked for ID.

IMPORTANT FAQ's Q: How much will my tattoo cost? A: All accepted projects are priced at a minimum of £500, with a £100 deposit required at the time I contact you to secure your booking. If your request form is submitted and accepted, you will be quoted an estimate along with deposit details. Q: Where are you located? A: Ebbw Vale South Wales Q: How many hours do you tattoo during a full day? A: I start at 10:30am and typically finish by 5-7pm (Includes small breaks) WARNING: there are multiple IMPERSONATORS claiming to be me- they will pretend to duscuss your tattoo and take "deposits" Impersonators will not have Verified accounts.
